[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] A series of live concert recordings will be released one after another during this year’s Chuseok holiday, allowing viewers to experience the excitement of the concerts vividly from the comfort of their own living rooms. Viewers can enjoy a diverse lineup of performances, ranging from singer Lee Seung-chul and the band Bu-hwal—who are celebrating their 40th anniversary—to the top 7 contestants from the trot audition show “Legends of the Unknown,” including Seong-ri, and the leading K-pop girl group aespa.

◇Lee Seung-chul Kicks Off the Chuseok Holiday… Plus a Performance by the “Unknown Legends” Top 7
The star of the first “living room concert” is Lee Seung-chul. “2026 KBS Chuseok Special Project – Your Life Is a Never-Ending Story: Lee Seung-chul” will air on KBS 2TV at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
This is a live recording of a concert held on the 1st of last month at the Inspire Arena on Yeongjong Island in Incheon, in front of an audience of approximately 12,000 people. Lee Seung-cheol, who debuted as the vocalist of the band Bu-hwal in 1986 and is celebrating his 40th anniversary this year, performed 28 songs over the course of about three hours, unfolding his musical journey on stage.
He presented a setlist featuring his long-beloved hits, including “Hee-ya,” “Don’t Say Goodbye,” “Girls’ Generation,” “Fate,” “Western Sky,” and “There’s No One Like That.” Special performances were also arranged, including a duet with actor Park Bo-gum.
The broadcast can also be viewed via the online video service (OTT) Wavve. Wavve will exclusively release the program as video-on-demand (VOD) after the broadcast ends.

On September 25, Chuseok Day, at 5:10 p.m., MBN will air the 110-minute “Legend of the Unknown Concert.” The program features live footage from the Anyang performance of the national tour by the Top 7 contestants of MBN’s trot audition show “Legend of the Unknown: The Trot Men’s Rank War,” which concluded last May.
“Legends of the Unknown” concluded by crowning Seong-ri as the “First Legend.” The finale, which featured the championship round, recorded a peak viewership rating of 10.1% (based on Nielsen Korea’s paid TV households). The Top 7 included Seong-ri, Haru, Jang Han-byul, Hwang Yoon-sung, Jeong Yeon-ho, Lee Chang-min, and Iru-ne.
In this episode, viewers will see performances by the six members—excluding Lee Chang-min, who was unable to attend the Anyang concert due to a scheduling conflict with a 2AM concert. During the performance, Seong-ri expressed his overwhelming emotions to the fans, saying, “A year ago, I stood on this stage as a guest, but now I’m standing here as the main performer—it’s truly overwhelming,” before passionately singing “Aega,” a song dedicated to his mother. In addition, various performances not seen on the competition show will be unveiled, including a rendition of “Jumun – Mirotic” by the idol-turned-cast members and a performance of “Bukbuk” by a combination of the oldest and youngest members.

◇aespa’s First Gocheok Dome Concert Revealed… Plus a Stage Marking the 40th Anniversary of Buval
The live recording of aespa’s fourth world tour “SYNK: COMPLEXITY” Seoul concert will be released on Samsung TV Plus at 7 p.m. on the 26th. The video captures aespa’s first solo concert, held at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on the 7th and 8th of last month, which also marked the start of their new world tour.
Over the two days, a.a. drew a total audience of 35,000 and performed their hit songs, including “Armageddon,” “Drama,” “Next Level,” and “Supernova.”
The live concert will be available in seven countries, including South Korea, via “STN”—Samsung’s exclusive channel on Samsung TV Plus—and “SM Town,” a collaborative channel with SM Entertainment. This marks the first time upscaling technology has been applied to live concert content on Samsung TV Plus, and in South Korea, it also supports “Eclipsa Audio,” a 3D audio technology jointly developed by Samsung Electronics and Google.
Viewers can watch the concert without a separate subscription fee via Samsung TV Plus, an ad-supported free streaming service (FAST) for Samsung Smart TV users. Following the premiere, the concert will be rebroadcast five times in total, every Saturday until the 31st of next month.

At 9:10 p.m. on the 26th, Channel A will broadcast “Buhwal 40th Anniversary Concert in Seoul: Legends of Korean Rock.” The program features live footage from Buhwal’s 40th-anniversary concert, held last July at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Buhwal, which debuted in 1986 with its first album *Rock Will Never Die*, has established itself as a leading band in Korean rock music, leaving behind numerous iconic songs such as “Hee-ya,” “The Story of Rain and You,” “The More I Love You,” “Lonely Night,” and “Never-Ending Story.”
For the 40th-anniversary concert, leader and guitarist Kim Tae-won, along with vocalist Park Wan-kyu, drummer Chae Je-min, and bassist Choi Woo-je, took the stage to retrace the musical journey Buval has undertaken. In addition to their long-beloved signature songs, they also performed new tracks from their recently released 14th studio album, Part 1, *Where Is Here*.
“Where Is Here” is Bohwal’s first studio album in 14 years, following their 13th studio album released in 2012. The title track, “The Wind Blowing Through the Sails,” conveys a message of comfort and hope. Channel A will rebroadcast the live performance at 7:30 p.m. on the 27th, the day after the original broadcast.
