[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] The group TIOT has raised anticipation for their comeback by releasing a teaser for the music video of their new song. (Photo courtesy of Red Start ENM) On the 25th, TIOT released the first music video teaser for “Pieces of Five Hours,” the title track of their fifth mini-album *Time for Us*, set for release on October 1, via their official social media accounts. The released teaser alternates between scenes from childhood and the present, foreshadowing a story about growth and the passage of time. In particular, a scene where the image of a young child transitions into member Geum Jun-hyun sparks curiosity about how the past and present will be connected. The fleeting, fragmentary scenes evoke the feel of a coming-of-age film and leave a warm, lingering impression. The sound, featuring a lyrical melody and overwhelming emotion, vividly conveys the song’s mood even in just a brief snippet. Additionally, the cinematic visuals—highlighted by soft lighting and dreamy colors—maximize immersion and heighten anticipation for this comeback. The title track, “Pieces of Five Hours,” depicts the process of realizing that the comfort one offered to others was something one needed for oneself as well. It tells the story of looking back on the time spent enduring difficult moments by pretending to be okay and comforting oneself, and finally confronting one’s own honest feelings that had been ignored all along. This comeback is drawing even more attention as it marks TIOT’s return approximately one year after their promotional activities for their fourth mini-album, “MY PRIDE,” released last September. Through “Time for Us,” TIOT plans to reflect on the time they spent racing forward without looking back and share the story of discovering how they—and each other—have changed along the way. TIOT’s fifth mini-album, “Time for Us,” will be released at 6:00 p.m. on the 1st of next month via various online music platforms.
