[Edaily Reporter SONG YOUNG-DOO ] NIBEC CO., LTD.(138610)is accelerating its efforts to expand its global business in regenerative biomaterials by participating in this global dental implant conference and holding meetings with global companies.

NIBEC CO., LTD. participated in the “EAO Congress 2026,” held in Lisbon, Portugal, from the 24th to the 26th of last month, where it operated an exhibition booth and hosted an industry forum on alveolar bone regeneration with domestic and international dental experts. During the event, the company also discussed plans to expand product supply and business cooperation with global dental and implant companies such as Straumann and Nobel Biocare.

At this year’s EAO, the company shared global clinical use cases of regenerative biomaterials while focusing on expanding its presence in the European market, particularly with MDR-certified products. The company’s strategy is to expand the growth foundation of its core business by leveraging product competitiveness, clinical networks, and overseas distribution channels, while accumulating product usage experience from global clinicians and continuing business discussions with major global companies.

The Industry Forum hosted by NIBEC CO., LTD. on the 24th was held under the theme “Regenerative Strategies, Biomaterials, and Biological Approaches for the Prevention and Restoration of Alveolar Bone Atrophy.” The forum focused on regenerative strategies and clinical applications of biomaterials aimed at reconstructing alveolar bone lost due to tooth extraction or periodontal disease and securing the bone volume necessary for implant treatment.

Five domestic and international experts served as speakers, including Professors Kim Seong-tae and Jo Young-dan from the Department of Periodontology at Seoul National University College of Dentistry; Professor Ricardo Faria Almeida from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Porto in Portugal; Dr. Gonçalo Carames, an expert in implant clinical practice and research; and Dr. Homa Zadeh, an expert in periodontology and implantology from the United States.

During the forum, a panel discussion was held on various treatment strategies and clinical applications—including alveolar ridge preservation and reconstruction, as well as bone and soft tissue regeneration—based on experience applying NIBEC CO., LTD.’s regenerative biomaterials in actual clinical practice.

NIBEC CO., LTD. continues to grow in its core business focused on regenerative biomaterials. In the second quarter of this year, revenue from the core business reached 6 billion won, a 23% increase compared to the same period last year. The company plans to sustain this growth in the core business in global markets, including Europe, by expanding its portfolio of MDR-certified products, accumulating global clinical references, and strengthening its overseas sales network.

Business discussions with global partners also continued. NIBEC CO., LTD. reviewed existing collaborative projects and market-specific conditions with major global dental and implant companies, such as Straumann and Nobel Biocare. In addition, the company discussed the potential for expanding product supply and further business collaboration in the future.

A NIBEC CO., LTD. official stated, “Regenerative biomaterials are NIBEC CO., LTD.’s core business, providing a stable revenue base,” adding, “By leveraging our product competitiveness, global clinical network, and overseas partnerships, we will expand product supply in global markets, including Europe, and continue to grow our core business.”
