NCT WISH Heats Up the Stage at the Korea-Japan Festival… Makes a Comeback with “I SPY”

[Edaily Reporter Lee Youn-jung ] Ahead of their comeback, the group NCT WISH performed at festivals in both South Korea and Japan.

NCT WISH made consecutive appearances at Hanyang University’s ERICA Campus and Kyung Hee University’s International Campus on the 29th of last month, followed by a performance at Dongguk University’s festival on the 30th. On stage, they performed their hit songs, including “Hands Up,” “Make You Shine,” “poppop,” “Ode to Love,” and “Sticky,” and, ahead of their comeback, gave a surprise preview of part of the choreography for their title track “I SPY.”

After touring university campuses across Korea, they moved their stage to Japan. On the 3rd, NCT WISH appeared at the Japanese music festival “a-nation 2026,” held at a special venue in Odaiba, Tokyo, for the third consecutive year, meeting local fans with their bright and upbeat stage presence and performances.

NCT WISH’s fourth mini-album, “I SPY,” is set to be released on the 12th. It features a total of six tracks, including the title track of the same name, and marks their first new release in about six months since their first full-length album, “Ode to Love,” released last April.

Meanwhile, NCT WISH has achieved three consecutive million-seller albums with “Ode to Love.” Their Japanese single “YO-I-DON!·BOY MEETS GIRL,” released last July, surpassed cumulative shipments of 500,000 copies and received a Double Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
