NOVA is a company that develops and operates inference systems for open AI models. With a team of engineers and researchers specializing in memory systems, high-performance computing (HPC), and machine learning, it is developing technologies to enhance the processing efficiency of AI inference.
NOVA possesses proprietary inference engine technology that optimizes memory utilization to enhance the efficiency of long-context processing and Agent AI operations. Based on this technology, it operates “Supernova,” a commercial inference cloud service, offering usage-based API services as well as dedicated deployment services tailored to clients’ cloud and on-premises server environments.
Through this investment, NEORIGIN will become a strategic investor in NOVA. The company plans to leverage its business network, established both domestically and internationally, to promote the adoption of NOVA’s solutions and expand its market presence in Asia.
The two companies intend to expand business synergies by combining their domestic infrastructure and customer networks with NOVA’s inference technology. However, specific business strategies are currently being formulated through discussions between the two companies, and a related roadmap will be unveiled in the future.
A NEORIGIN representative stated, “This investment agreement is the first step toward entering the rapidly growing global AI infrastructure market,” adding, “Based on our domestic infrastructure and customer network, we will quickly establish NOVA’s differentiated inference technology in the market and generate business results.”
The representative added, “We are currently closely discussing and formulating specific business strategies between the two companies,” noting, “We expect to be able to unveil the roadmap in the near future.”
Meanwhile, NEORIGIN plans to expand its business into the AI and AI infrastructure sectors, leveraging its experience in gaming, digital content, and overseas business development. The company intends to enhance its business structure through a demand-driven business model that connects overseas customers and technology with its domestic infrastructure and computing resource management capabilities.
