This was approximately 3 hours and 14 minutes after he entered the building at around 4:44 p.m. It was reported that the two sides held a dinner banquet following the meeting. Cho Sang-yeon, President (Senior Vice President) of SamsungElectronics’ DSA (Americas) division, came out to the building’s entrance to see Chairman Su off.
When asked by reporters, “What did you discuss today?” Chairman Soo replied, “We had a very good discussion,” adding, “Samsung is an excellent partner for us, and we always have good strategic discussions. We had another very good discussion today.”
However, she did not disclose any specific progress regarding foundry cooperation, which had drawn particular attention. When asked, “Has there been any progress in cooperation with Samsung Foundry?” Chairwoman Su replied, “We have a very broad partnership overall.” Earlier that day, Chairwoman Su had told reporters that she and SamsungElectronics were continuing to explore opportunities for cooperation not only in memory but also in foundry services.

Having concluded his visit to South Korea with the meeting at SamsungElectronics, Chairman Soo is scheduled to depart for the United States.
