“Tackling the Explosion of AIDC Data”… KTCorporation Unveils 800 Gbps ‘AI Dedicated Line’ with 8x Increased Bandwidth
Transmission speed and bandwidth expanded eightfold, from the previous 100 Gbps to a maximum of 800 Gbps
Implementation of APN-Based Optical-Centric Network Technology
Achieving "Ultra-Low Latency" by Minimizing Intermediate Conversions
Leveraging 840,000 km of nationwide optical infrastructure to connect distributed AIDCs via optimal routes
[Edaily Reporter Yun Junghoon ] As the proliferation of generative AI causes data traffic at AI data centers (AIDCs) to skyrocket, KTCorporation is stepping up its push into the AI B2B market by highlighting its ultra-high-speed, ultra-low-latency dedicated infrastructure.

KTCorporation(030200)announced on the 14th that it has launched an “AI Dedicated Line” supporting up to 800 Gbps of bandwidth to proactively address the massive demand for AI data transmission.
As generative AI models have become more sophisticated and the exchange of large-volume data between AIDCs distributed nationwide has increased, reducing network latency and improving speeds for training and inference have emerged as key competitive advantages for AI infrastructure.
In line with this trend, KTCorporation has significantly expanded the bandwidth of its enterprise dedicated lines—which previously topped out at 100 Gbps—to 400 Gbps and 800 Gbps. This is effectively an eightfold widening of the “highway” capable of instantly processing large volumes of data without congestion.
In particular, these AI-dedicated lines incorporate APN (All-Photonic Network) technology, which minimizes the process of converting optical signals into electrical ones. By reducing the number of processing steps during data transmission, this technology maximizes ultra-low latency and supports route design optimized for each client’s environment.
Furthermore, leveraging KTCorporation’s nationwide fiber-optic cable network spanning 840,000 kilometers (km) and its dual-path network, the company has established the shortest and most optimal routes between multi-AIDCs and key hubs, ensuring high connection stability.
KTCorporation plans to expand the supply of AI-dedicated lines, focusing on AIDC operators and corporate customers seeking to build large-scale GPU infrastructure.
Jeon Myeong-jun, Executive Vice President and Head of KTCorporation’s Enterprise Services Division, stated, “As AIDCs and GPU infrastructure expand, the importance of ultra-high-speed, ultra-low-latency networks will only grow,” adding, “Through our AI-dedicated lines, KTCorporation will support customers in rapidly and flexibly building and expanding large-scale AX infrastructure.”
