Her agency, Billions, told E-Daily on the 17th, “Jo Bo-ah has joined the project and will begin filming today. Since she’s part of such a great production, she’ll do her best to deliver a great performance.” Set in the 1970s and ’80s, “The Docile Killer” tells the story of Go Dal-bun (played by Kim Da-mi), a delicate woman whose only plan in life was to be a model housewife, and the events that unfold when she takes an unexpected job. The screenplay is written by Joo Hwa-mi, author of “I’m No Hero,” and directed by Lee Jeong-heum, known for “Gugyeong-i” and “Our Movie.” Jo Bo-ah will play the role of Lee Hwa-ra, known by the code name “Miss Lee,” in this series. Lee Chung-ah was originally cast in this role but had to withdraw after suffering a back injury in a traffic accident that made it difficult for her to perform the action scenes. Jo Bo-ah married a non-celebrity in October 2024 and gave birth to a son last February. “The Docile Killer” is scheduled to be released sometime next year.
