[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] SOS LAB Co., Ltd.(464080), a LiDAR-based spatial intelligence solutions company, announced on the 19th that it will showcase new products and key technologies at the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) World Congress in Gangneung as it sets out to tap into the global smart infrastructure market.

The ITS World Congress is a large-scale exhibition and academic event in the ITS field attended by representatives from industry, academia, and government. Since its inaugural event in Paris, France, in 1994, it has been held on a rotating basis across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The “2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress” will run through the 23rd, and SOS LAB Co., Ltd. plans to operate its own booth to showcase its key products and solutions.

At the on-site technology demonstration area, the company will showcase “LPGS SPOT,” a next-generation LiDAR-based parking guidance solution. The aim is to demonstrate the potential applications of LiDAR-based spatial intelligence technology to visitors and industry professionals from around the world. SOS LAB Co., Ltd. will also hold business meetings with domestic and international organizations and companies during the exhibition. The company plans to expand its network in the autonomous driving and smart city sectors and explore new business opportunities based on its key data solutions and new products.

The company will also unveil its new LiDAR product for smart infrastructure, the “ML-I,” for the first time. The ML-I is a 3D fixed-mount LiDAR that supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus), handling both power supply and data communication via a single Ethernet cable. The company explains that this reduces the burden of wiring and installation while improving operational efficiency in smart infrastructure environments where multiple sensors must be deployed.

The conference will feature a variety of programs, including high-level meetings, academic sessions, cutting-edge technology demonstrations, and hands-on experiences. Representatives from various countries, along with academics and industry professionals, are scheduled to discuss the future direction of mobility—including next-generation Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS), autonomous driving, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), Urban Air Mobility (UAM), and smart cities—as well as strategies for global cooperation.

SOS LAB Co., Ltd. is expanding its business scope beyond autonomous driving and robotics into the smart infrastructure sector. LPGS SPOT, a LiDAR-based solution, and “LCAS QMAP,” a real-time traffic congestion monitoring solution, have been deployed at major airports, rest areas, and public parking lots in smart cities. Recently, as demand for LiDAR has grown in AI smart factories and dark factories, the company is accelerating the development and commercialization of new products tailored to on-site needs.

Lee Yong-i, Head of the Data Solutions Business Division at SOS LAB Co., Ltd., stated, “This conference provides an opportunity for global attendees to experience our LiDAR solutions firsthand at the event venue and verify their practical applications.” He added, “Based on exchanges with industry professionals both domestically and internationally, we will strive to expand the scope of applications into various fields.”
