According to COWAY on the 19th, Virex has expanded its line of customized mattresses to meet the diverse needs of customers.
The “Virex Modi Mattress” is the perfect choice for customers who prefer sleeping on their back and value firm support. Its separate “Signature Independent Springs” provide firm lumbar support and distribute body pressure, offering a comfortable sleeping experience without any motion transfer. The springs are made from POSCO’s high-strength hard steel wire, which maintains firmness even after prolonged use and helps ensure a stable sleeping environment even when the person next to you moves. The top layer features “Contour 7-Zone Foam.” The mattress is divided into seven zones based on the body’s contours and constructed with varying densities to effectively distribute body pressure.
If you’re a side sleeper, the “Virex Signature FireShield Mattress,” which gently cradles your body, is the perfect choice. This soft-type mattress envelops your entire body with plush cushioning. It employs the “Inner Tufting” technique—which uses nylon fasteners instead of adhesives to connect the inner layers—to enhance flexibility between the layers. The spring structure is designed with a “Dual Support System.” Micro-pocket springs are added on top of the main springs in the upper layer of the mattress to gently absorb even the slightest movements and provide optimal support.
The “Smart Mattress” is considered an ideal choice for couples with different sleep preferences. The two models in the Virex Smart Mattress line (S8+ and S6+) allow users to adjust the mattress firmness to suit their preferences, body type, and sleeping position through the Sleep Cells inside the mattress and the Smart Control System. Users can adjust the firmness level of the Sleep Cells according to their physical condition and preferences, ranging from a plush, soft feel to a firm, supportive feel. For Large King (LK), King (K), and Queen (Q) sizes, the firmness can be adjusted separately on the left and right sides.
The company also introduced a smart mattress equipped with the “BEREX Sleep Sync” feature. This product detects changes in the user’s movements—even when their sleeping position shifts—and analyzes pressure differences across different body parts to automatically distribute pressure.
