[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Actor Kim Woo-seok, who is making a splash as a scene-stealer in “Doctor X,” is drawing attention after it was revealed that he is the younger brother of Melomance’s Kim Min-seok.

Recently, posts claiming that Kim Woo-seok and Kim Min-seok are brothers have been spreading across online communities and social media platforms.
Kim Woo-seok is currently appearing as Park Tae-kyung, an intern at Gu-seo University Seonam Hospital, in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Doctor X,” a refreshing medical noir featuring “Gye Su-jeong”—the “crazy genius of the operating room” who shatters injustice with her prodigious surgical skills. He is the only character at Seonam Hospital who follows and admires Gye Su-jeong, who is ostracized by the rest of the staff. With each episode, he and Gye Su-jeong showcase a fresh dynamic, adding to the drama’s appeal.
It has previously been revealed that Kim Woo-seok and Kim Min-seok are brothers. Kim Min-seok demonstrated their exceptional bond in 2022 by contributing to the OST for the MBC drama *The Golden Marriage Decree: Joseon’s Marriage Ban*, in which his younger brother Kim Woo-seok starred; the two have also appeared together on shows such as MBC’s *King of Mask Singer* and KBS2’s *Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook*. Recently, on KBS Cool FM’s “A Kiss for the Year: The Radio,” Kim Min-seok served as a special DJ, and Kim Woo-seok appeared as a guest.
The two also joined forces for a charitable cause in 2023 by donating 35 million won to the Community Chest of Korea. Kim Min-seok joined the “Sharing Leaders” program in 2018, and Kim Woo-seok later joined as well, making them the first celebrity brothers to become “Sharing Leaders” together.
