The event was hosted by Simplatform Co., Ltd. and organized by MSMA, with the Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Institution (MIDF) and global enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions provider Epicor participating as partners.
Held in a closed-door boardroom format, the event was attended by approximately 40 participants, including representatives from government and related agencies—such as the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the Selangor Human Resource Development Center (SHRDC), and the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises—as well as executives from about 20 local manufacturing companies.
Lim Dae-geun, CEO of Simplatform Co., Ltd., joined Azizi Mustafa, CEO of MIDF, and Ben Lim, Regional Sales Director for Malaysia and Singapore at Epicor, to discuss the support framework and directions for collaboration needed for manufacturing companies to adopt AX.
The discussion focused on promoting policy support, financing, and integration with existing operational systems throughout the AI adoption process for manufacturing companies. The aim is to increase the practical use of AI on the manufacturing floor by combining the financial support needed for technology adoption with integration into companies’ internal systems.
At the event, Simplatform Co., Ltd. introduced its industrial AI platform, “NUBISON AX.” NUBISON AX is a solution that supports everything from data collection and analysis on the manufacturing floor to the development, training, and operation of AI models. The company presented a model for AX adoption in the manufacturing sector that combines support from local financial institutions with integration into ERP systems.
Simplatform Co., Ltd. plans to use this event as an opportunity to assess the sector-specific needs and operational environments of Malaysian manufacturing companies and to expand opportunities for AX adoption through collaboration with relevant local organizations and businesses.
Lim Dae-geun, CEO of Simplatform Co., Ltd., stated, “For manufacturing companies to adopt AX and achieve results, they need not only technology but also policy support, financing, and integration with existing operational systems.” He added, “We will work with MIDF, Epico, and relevant local organizations to develop a concrete AX adoption model tailored to the Malaysian manufacturing sector.”
