According to their agency, HYBE·Geffen Records, on the 28th, KATSEYE will perform on the second day of “Lollapalooza India 2027,” which will take place on January 23–24 next year at the Mahalakshmi Racecourse in Mumbai, India.
"Lollapalooza" is a major music festival that began in the United States in 1991 and has expanded to South America, Europe, and various parts of Asia. This will be the fifth time the festival has been held in India, with over 40 acts set to perform a diverse range of genres across four stages.
The lineup features world-class musicians such as Cat’s Eye, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Olivia Dean, the American rock band Limp Bizkit, and the Irish band Fontaines D.C.
The multinational girl group Cats Eye includes Lara, a member of Indian-American descent. Her agency stated, “For Lara, this tour holds special significance as it allows her to visit the country of her heritage.”
Cats Eye solidified their rising popularity by topping the U.S. Billboard 200—the main album chart—with their third mini-album, *WILD*, released last August. The album ranked No. 39 on the latest Billboard 200 chart (dated October 31), maintaining its position on the chart for 10 consecutive weeks. Additionally, the album’s pre-release track “Animal” reached No. 30 on the Hot 100, remaining on the chart for 13 consecutive weeks.
