[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] “Based on the battery supply contract with NeoVolta Power for energy storage systems (ESS) and other orders secured both domestically and internationally, we are currently actively negotiating additional orders with customers in North America and South Korea. In North America, in particular, we are securing various customer inquiries and business opportunities by leveraging our non-Chinese supply chain and local production capacity.

On the production front, the company is prioritizing the conversion of existing electric vehicle (EV) production lines for ESS use over building new facilities. Currently, some production lines in South Korea and North America are being gradually converted for ESS use, and the company plans to flexibly allocate production capacity according to order volumes and customer-specific delivery schedules.

Decisions regarding future conversions will be made after comprehensively considering confirmed orders, volumes under negotiation, EV production forecasts, regional policy requirements, and investment efficiency. We will strive to enhance our ESS capabilities and maximize the utilization of existing production assets while minimizing the burden of additional capital expenditures (CAPEX).
