NCT Dream will release their sixth full-length album, “DREAM AFTER DREAM,” on the 9th. This album features a total of 10 tracks, including the title track “Boogie Woogie,” as well as “Dream After Dream” and “Skydive.” To mark their 10th anniversary since debut, NCT Dream has infused the album with a message of gratitude to their fans and a commitment to moving forward toward new dreams. They heightened anticipation by unveiling teaser content ahead of the album’s release, featuring a concept where they invite fans to a special dinner. ATEEZ, signed to KQ Entertainment, will release their 15th mini-album, “GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 6,” on the 13th. The album features five tracks, including the title track “UP,” as well as “ANEMIA,” “Drip,” “FAITH,” and “Hollow Victory.” ATEEZ is determined to build on the success of their previous title track “BAD,” which shook up the music charts, with this comeback. Producers Eden and Maddox, who collaborated on the group’s previous hit songs, participated in the production of the new album, while members Hongjoong and Mingi contributed lyrics to all tracks. ATEEZ kicked off the lead-up to their comeback on the 23rd of last month by releasing the audio and music video for their pre-release track “Drip.” The music video surpassed 10 million views on YouTube in just about three days after its release. The title track is “Angel Bite.” Through this new album, TXT tells the story of youth who have moved past the fantasies and wanderings of adolescence to face the weight of reality. In their concept content, which centers on the theme of a storm, they depict the group overcoming massive changes and turmoil as they move toward new possibilities. Even before their comeback, the reaction from their global fanbase has been explosive. “Perfect Storm” topped the “Top 10 Countdown” chart on Spotify—which is based on pre-save trends—for five consecutive days from the 26th to the 30th of last month. ENHYPEN, signed to Belief Lab, will release their spin-off single “THE SIN: PARALLEL WORLD” on the 20th. The physical album will be released three days later, on the 23rd. This marks the third time this year that N.HYPEN has released new music. This new release also concludes the series that began with the previously released “THE SIN: VANISH” and “THE SIN: BLISS.” The story will explore the fateful relationship between lovers who meet again in a parallel world. With their previous album, “THE SIN : BLISS,” ENHYPEN topped the Billboard 200, the main U.S. album chart, and achieved their fifth career double million-seller, showcasing their immense popularity. Backed by a solid fanbase, they have exerted strong influence in the album market and are expected to maintain their presence through the end of the year with these new releases. There are also expectations that their successive comebacks will breathe new life into the K-pop album market. A music industry insider stated, “November is a time when interest in artists’ activities peaks, as major music award ceremonies and year-end events are held one after another,” adding, “Releasing new albums can boost annual album sales and also secure new songs for next year’s tour activities.” The performance of these returning artists on the U.S. Billboard charts is also worth watching. Among those releasing full-length albums, ATEEZ and TXT have previously topped the Billboard 200, the main album chart. All eyes are on whether these two groups can claim the No. 1 spot once again with their new releases. So far this year, a total of five albums by K-pop artists have reached the top of the Billboard 200. BTS’s “ARIRANG,” ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5,” Stray Kids’ “THIS & THAT,” CAT’s EYE’s “WILD,” and ENHYPEN’s “THE XIN: BLISS” each claimed the No. 1 spot. This matches the record set in 2023. If any of ATEEZ, TXT, or NCT Dream reaches the top spot with their new release, the annual total of No. 1 albums will increase to six, breaking the record for the most. ENHYPEN is expected to be excluded from the Billboard 200 race since their new release is a single.
