[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] “Gyeongri Nara,” a service by fintech company WebCash Corporation(053580), is integrating with generative AI. Users will be able to view and analyze a company’s account transaction history, as well as sales and purchase tax invoices, through conversational interactions with models like Claude or ChatGPT. This trend of connecting general-purpose AI with internal business data is now expanding to accounting tasks at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

WebCash Corporation announced on the 5th that it will launch “Gyeongri Nara MCP” in December, which allows users to access Gyeongri Nara data within generative AI apps. Ahead of the official launch, the company is recruiting 10 existing clients to participate in a trial program through the 13th.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that helps AI models connect to external data and services to retrieve and utilize necessary information. Using Gyeongrinara MCP, users can access their company’s management information through familiar platforms like Claude or ChatGPT without having to download separate files or manually enter data.

For example, if a user asks the AI, “Tell me where spending has increased compared to last month,” the AI will compare the withdrawal records stored in Gyeongrinara with those from the previous month and summarize the extent of spending increases by business partner. It is also possible to search transaction records based on specific periods or amounts, or to view purchase tax invoices by business partner.

Client companies directly manage access permissions to their corporate data. The service can only be used after a company administrator enables the integration feature in Gyeongrinara and consents to data sharing; the integration can be disabled if necessary. Data accessible to the AI is divided into four business areas—cash flow, sales, purchases, and basic information—allowing users to select and grant access only to the necessary information.

Integrating AI into Accounting Work for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
Gyeongrinara is specialized accounting software designed for
small and medium-sized enterprises
, small business owners, and sole proprietors. It focuses on automating bookkeeping and cash flow management tasks that were previously handled using Excel or manually.

It allows users to view consolidated bank account transaction histories and import tax invoices, corporate credit card statements, and cash receipts to update sales and purchase ledgers. It also offers features for payroll transfers, expense management, data transmission to tax accounting firms, and the generation of daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.

In the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) bookkeeping and accounting software market, competing products include IQUEST Co., Ltd.’s “Eolmaeyo,” DaouTechnology’s “Daou Office Bookkeeping & Accounting,” and Pharos ERP. Features vary by product, including bookkeeping and accounting automation, cash flow management, inventory and distribution management, groupware, and electronic approval systems. Gyeongrinara’s introduction of the MCP stands out by adding data retrieval and analysis capabilities powered by generative AI to its existing bookkeeping automation.

WebCash Corporation is offering 10 companies selected for the trial program the opportunity to use Gyeongrinara MCP for one year. Participating companies that share use cases will also receive a lifetime free subscription to Gyeongrinara. Applications can be submitted via the announcements section within the Gyeongrinara service.

Kang Won-ju, CEO of WebCash Corporation, stated, “While the number of companies using generative AI for their work has increased, their actual financial and tax invoice data has remained outside the scope of AI,” adding, “Starting with Gyeongri Nara MCP, we will expand the scope of business management data that can be utilized by AI.”

WebCash Corporation also plans to launch “Gyeongri 365” (tentative name), an AI agent specialized for accounting tasks, next year. The company envisions expanding its services beyond simply retrieving corporate data from general-purpose AI apps to handling accounting tasks through a dedicated agent.
