[Edaily Reporter YUN GI BACK ] The actors and producers who helped shape Marvel’s box office success are visiting Korea. Chris Evans, who plays Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, and Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, will meet with Korean fans ahead of the release of the movie “Avengers: Doomsday.” The event is expected to showcase the return of these long-beloved heroes and introduce Marvel’s new story.

According to the importer and distributor, The Walt Disney Company Korea, the three will arrive in Korea on December 7 to attend official events, including a press conference and a red carpet ceremony. Specific event details will be announced sequentially at a later date.
This marks Chris Evans’ first visit to Korea for a Marvel film in 11 years, since *Avengers: Age of Ultron* in 2015. He has played Steve Rogers, the first Captain America, from *Captain America: The First Avenger* through *Avengers: Endgame*, serving as a central pillar of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since he is returning as “Doomsday” following *Endgame*, he is expected to share his thoughts on his comeback and discuss the new film during this visit to Korea.
This marks Chris Hemsworth’s first visit to South Korea to promote a Marvel film. Having previously visited the country last year to film Season 2 of the Disney+ original series *Chris Hemsworth: Limitless*, he will now meet with the local press and fans as the actor who plays Thor.
The visit by Kevin Feige, who will accompany the two actors, is also drawing attention. Kevin Feige is the producer who built the MCU by connecting the stories of individual heroes into a single shared universe, starting with “Iron Man.” Interest is focused not only on the actors’ filming experiences but also on the role “Doomsday” plays within the broader Marvel narrative.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is the fifth film in the “Avengers” series, directed by brothers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. It promises the appearance of the villain Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., and an all-out battle among the heroes. It is set to open in South Korea on December 16.
