SKSecurities Earns Top ‘AA’ Rating in SustainBest ESG Assessment

Upgraded by one notch from the previous A rating Top Daesang in an Evaluation of 1,305 Companies Also Selected for the "ESG Best Companies 100" List Recognition of a Board-Centric Governance System

[Edaily Reporter Park Sun-Yeop ] SKSecurities received the highest rating of “AA” in the first half of 2026 ESG evaluation conducted by SustainBest, a domestic ESG rating agency.
SKSecurities(001510)The company announced on the 25th that it had achieved an “AA” rating—one step up from its previous “A” rating—in the first-half ESG evaluation released by SustainBest. This evaluation covered a total of 1,305 companies, including both domestic listed and unlisted firms, and assessed all areas of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

The ‘AA’ rating is the highest grade awarded to companies demonstrating excellent management of ESG risks and opportunities. SKSecurities was recognized for managing key sustainable management issues through its ESG Committee—which operates under the Board of Directors—and for overseeing risk factors through its Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Internal Control Committee.
In this evaluation, SKSecurities was also named to the “ESG Best Companies 100,” a list compiled by SustainBest for companies with assets of 2 trillion won or more.
SKSecurities applies an ESG checklist to its investment review process. It is also expanding its ESG management by enhancing its human rights management system, establishing human rights guidelines for business partners, and strengthening financial consumer protection.
Jeong Jun-ho, CEO of SKSecurities, stated, “Achieving this AA rating is the result of embedding ESG throughout our entire business operations and establishing a solid foundation for practical implementation.” He added, “Moving forward, based on board-centered ESG governance, we will strive for sustainable growth and enhanced corporate value as a responsible financial institution.”
