Held at the FastFive Seolleung Central branch in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, this event was attended by 26 unemployed young adults aged 19 to 39 who are participating in the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s Youth Challenge Support Project.
The company tour program was designed to provide young people with gaps in their employment history an opportunity to observe work environments up close and gain a realistic perspective on their career paths. Specifically, the event consisted of: △ a tour of the FastFive Seolleung Central branch; △ an introduction to the shared office industry; △ a lecture on the brand story; and △ a special session on interview strategies led by a human resources (HR) manager.
Shin Jeong-woo, Group Leader of the HR & Office Sales Group at FastFive, who led the special lecture, shared advice to help participants in their job search. He provided support to address issues that young people actually face, such as employment gaps, delayed job preparation, setting career directions, and adapting to an organization.
He also introduced educational opportunities to help participants continue their job search preparations. #Day1 Company Inc., a provider of adult education content, presented job-linked vocational training programs for young people, offering guidance on how participants can build professional competencies and refine their job search strategies.
FastFive operates 60 coworking office locations primarily in Seoul and the greater Seoul area, providing workspaces. In addition to coworking spaces, the company has diversified its business by offering building management solutions and corporate office construction services.
Kim Dae-il, CEO of FastFive, said, “Based on FastFive’s network and operational capabilities, we will continue to expand opportunities for young people in Korea—including those who have taken a break from work—to explore various job roles and industries and discover new possibilities.”
