HYUNDAIDEPARTMENTSTORECO.,LTD announced on the 30th that it has obtained “ISO 45001” certification—the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems—from the Korean Standards Association (KSA).

ISO 45001 is an international certification in the field of occupational health and safety established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), awarded to companies capable of systematically managing workplace hazards and preventing industrial accidents.

This certification covered HYUNDAIDEPARTMENTSTORECO.,LTD’s headquarters and all of its locations nationwide. The company explained that it received high marks for incorporating the results of safety awareness surveys conducted among customers, business partners, and employees into its improvement initiatives, as well as for implementing safety management plans to prepare for extreme weather events such as heat waves and torrential rains.
