Prime Day is a large-scale discount event held annually by the global e-commerce platform Amazon. APR recorded its highest-ever sales during Amazon Prime Day in the U.S. According to Amazon’s internal data, during the event, MediCube ranked first in search terms across all Amazon categories, surpassing products such as the iPad, LEGO, and AirPods. This represents a significant rise from last year’s ninth-place ranking and demonstrates the brand’s growing popularity in the local market. Looking at specific products, the “Zero Pore Pad” ranked first in Amazon’s overall Beauty & Personal Care category for the second consecutive year. Additionally, the product maintained the top spot in the Toners & Astringents category for the third consecutive year. In addition, flagship products such as the “Collagen Gel Cream” and “PDRN Pink Peptide Ampoule” continued to enjoy steady sales growth. During the event period, Medicube placed up to 11 products in the top 100 bestsellers across the entire Beauty & Personal Care category, placing more products in the rankings than any other beauty brand. Success continued in the European market as well. Starting with Amazon UK at the end of last year, APR sequentially expanded its presence to Amazon in Germany, Spain, Italy, and France, and this year participated for the first time in Amazon Prime Day events in various countries, held simultaneously with the U.S. event. During this promotional period, Medicube placed an average of more than seven products in the top 100 of the overall beauty category on Amazon in each country. Furthermore, on the final day of the event, Medicube ranked No. 1 in beauty category search results on Amazon in the UK, Spain, and Italy. APR plans to continue various brand initiatives to further strengthen the brand’s influence in the U.S. and European markets. An APR representative stated, “This promotion served as an opportunity to reaffirm the brand’s solid popularity in the U.S. while confirming high consumer demand for MediCube in the European market,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness across the global market through the diversification of sales channels and localized branding strategies.”
