[Edaily Reporter KIM YOON-JEONG ] Korea Investment & Securities forecast that #d'Alba Global will maintain solid profitability through efficient marketing execution as its overseas growth, centered on the U.S., continues. The firm maintained its “Buy” investment rating and target price of 300,000 won. On the 6th, Kim Myung-ju, an analyst at Korea Investment & Securities, stated, “d'Alba Global’s second-quarter earnings will be solid,” adding, “If the market’s rotation trend continues, the benefits for the cosmetics sector—and within that sector, the benefits for d'Alba Global, which offers attractive valuations—are crystal clear.” Korea Investment & Securities projected that d'Alba Global’s second-quarter consolidated revenue would reach 183.2 billion won, a 42.7% increase year-over-year, while operating profit would rise 44.8% year-over-year to 42.3 billion won. The firm forecast an operating profit margin (OPM) of 23.1%, expecting operating profit to meet market expectations. The firm also assessed that the company achieved solid results during Amazon Prime Day in June. Analyst Kim explained, “In particular, the Multi Balm posted remarkable results in the U.S.,” adding, “During the week of Amazon Prime Day (June 20–26), estimated sales of d'Alba Global’s Multi Balm on Amazon U.S. rose 123.6% compared to the previous week, while estimated sales of the White Truffle Spray increased by 83.7%.” Consequently, U.S. sales are expected to rise by 120% year-over-year and 15% month-over-month. In Japan, sales are projected to rise 48.3% year-over-year, as the positive impact of expanding brick-and-mortar stores—which continued from the first quarter (from 3,600 stores in Q4 2025 to 4,500 stores in Q1 2026)—persists. While domestic sales are expected to grow by only 13.5% year-over-year, overseas sales are forecast to surge by 59.7%, driving overall performance. Marketing efficiency is also expected to remain strong. Analyst Kim stated, “Considering the success of Amazon Prime Day and the impact of increased offline sales in the U.S. and Europe, we expect the improved marketing efficiency seen in the first quarter to continue into the second quarter.” He continued, “We expect the ratio of advertising and promotional expenses to revenue to be 19.9% in the second quarter, down 1.8 percentage points year-over-year,” adding, “The ratio of advertising and promotional expenses to revenue in the first quarter was also 16.7%, down 1.8 percentage points year-over-year.” Analyst Kim added, “Market conditions in the cosmetics sector remain consistently strong, and the second-quarter earnings of leading cosmetics companies, including d'Alba Global, are also impeccable,” noting, “If the trend of rotational trading within the market continues, the benefits to the cosmetics sector—and, within that sector, the benefits to d'Alba Global, which offers attractive valuation—are abundantly clear.”
