FLITTO Inc. announced on the 6th that the cumulative number of medical conferences adopting its AI translation and interpretation solution, “Live Translation,” has reached approximately 100.
Since medical conferences bring together healthcare professionals and researchers from various countries, real-time multilingual communication that accurately conveys specialized medical terminology is crucial. The company explained that as the global standing of “K-Medical” has recently risen, demand for AI-based interpretation is rapidly increasing even at international academic conferences held in Korea.
FLITTO Inc.’s Live Translation was adopted at approximately 40 medical conferences in the first half of this year alone. This represents an increase of more than 200% compared to the same period last year. Notable examples include the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic and Laser Surgery’s “ASLS KOREA 2025” and the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons’ “PRS KOREA 2025.”
The company expects that, including not only medical conferences but also other sectors such as general corporate events, the total number of events adopting the service will reach 600 by the end of this year.
FLITTO Inc. explained that at PRS KOREA 2025, attended by numerous international medical professionals and VIPs, the quality of its AI interpretation was recognized.

FLITTO Inc. has been refining its solution based on domain-specific data to reflect the expertise of medical conferences. This involves compiling terminology and expressions specific to each medical field into glossaries and improving translation accuracy through customized pre-training for each client.
It is also improving service quality based on know-how accumulated through experience in operating various medical conferences.
Thanks to its technical capabilities and operational experience, the number of repeat adoptions is also increasing. FLITTO Inc.’s solutions have been repeatedly adopted across various medical fields, including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Korean Society of Medical Oncology, and the Korean Society of Interventional Cardiology. A representative from the Korean Society of Neuro-Oncology stated, “FLITTO Inc.’s AI interpretation solution was a great help in successfully running our annual academic conference.”
Lee Jeong-soo, CEO of FLITTO Inc., stated, “Since medical societies require a high degree of expertise and thus have strict standards for translation accuracy, FLITTO Inc.’s technological competitiveness is truly shining through.” He added, “We will continue to use AI-driven data technology to break down language barriers at global medical events and contribute to elevating the status of K-Medical.”
