[E-Daily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] MEDIANA Co.,LTD, a subsidiary of SELVAS AI Inc.(108860), is partnering with AI semiconductor company FuriosaAI and AI robotics specialist XYZ to build a hospital-based Physical AI platform.

The strategy is to expand its business scope from medical devices to AI platforms by building a “Medical Sovereign AI” ecosystem that integrates medical data, AI semiconductors, and AI robots.

On the 7th, MEDIANA Co.,LTD announced that it will jointly develop a hospital-based Physical AI platform with FuriosaAI and XYZ, integrating AI analysis and logistics automation within hospitals.

This collaboration combines FuriosaAI’s Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and XYZ’s AI robot platform with the patient monitoring devices, Central Monitoring System (CMS) infrastructure, and medical data that MEDIANA Co.,LTD has built up over the years.

The platform is focused on implementing an on-premise AI environment that analyzes large volumes of vital data—such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), blood pressure, and oxygen saturation (SpO₂)—generated within hospitals in real time.

FuriosaAI provides an NPU-based AI inference environment that processes data within the hospital. By bypassing external clouds, the company plans to enhance the security and usability of medical data and support the creation of customized AI analysis environments for each hospital.

XY’s AI robot platform will also be integrated. The system works such that, once the AI server analyzes patient conditions and ward operation information, robots perform tasks such as transporting specimens and blood samples, carrying medical supplies, managing ward logistics, and guiding patients. The goal is to implement “Physical AI,” which connects in-hospital AI analysis with physical tasks on a single platform.

MEDIANA Co.,LTD plans to use this collaboration as an opportunity to expand its business structure—which has traditionally focused on medical device sales—into AI platforms and software. The strategy is to gradually increase recurring revenue models, such as AI analytics solutions, software licenses, and subscription-based services (SaaS), to boost the proportion of its platform business.
