LOTTE SHOPPING CO., LTD. announced on the 13th that it will launch the “L.HONORS CLUB,” a shareholder benefits program, starting next month to enhance shareholder value.

Currently, shareholder benefits programs are primarily implemented by a select few small and medium-sized consumer goods companies in Korea. In contrast, approximately 40% of all listed companies in Japan utilize such programs. Drawing on these international examples, LOTTE SHOPPING CO., LTD. plans to provide tangible benefits that shareholders can experience in their daily lives and thereby increase their satisfaction.

The L.HONORS CLUB recognizes distinguished shareholders who contribute to the company’s growth. The L.HONORS CLUB offers customized benefits based on the size and duration of stock holdings.

First, all shareholders holding at least one share will receive a welcome gift upon initial enrollment: a 10–20% discount coupon redeemable within specified limits at department stores, supermarkets, and e-commerce platforms. Additionally, the program offers purchase-amount-linked points, awarding 1%, 2%, or 3% based on spending thresholds (1 million, 2 million, and 3 million won).

On November 1, the program’s launch date, the first round of benefits will be provided to shareholders as of the end of September this year. Thereafter, shareholders as of the end of the year will receive benefits starting February 1 of next year, with benefits scheduled to be provided on a three-month cycle. In particular, high-value, long-term shareholders—those who have held 1,000 or more shares for at least one year, placing them in the top 1%—will receive additional premium benefits.

These shareholders will receive exclusive benefits, including access to department store lounges and valet and parking services, as well as discount and free shipping coupons valid at supermarkets, grocery stores, and e-commerce platforms. Detailed benefits will be available starting on the 15th via the pre-registration page within the L.Point app.

Lim Jae-cheol, Head of Finance at LOTTE SHOPPING CO., LTD., stated, “We have become the first major Korean conglomerate to implement a shareholder benefits program to provide tangible benefits to our shareholders and enhance shareholder value,” adding, “We will do our utmost to build long-term trust with our shareholders and enhance corporate value.”
