V-ONE TECH CO., LTD. recently signed a contract with a domestic precision parts manufacturer to supply semiconductor inspection equipment incorporating “with AI.” The company will supply quality inspection equipment for etching and plating of HBM connectors and lead frames for camera modules. This marks a new order in the semiconductor sector, following a previous contract signed with TOKAI CARBON KOREA CO., LTD. to supply silicon carbide (SiC) ring inspection equipment. In the automotive parts sector, the company has entered the market for automated inspection of aluminum-cast hybrid housings by supplying vision inspection equipment—which combines “with AI” technology with robots—to an automotive parts manufacturer. The company explained that, given the shortage of relevant automated optical inspection (AOI) solutions in Korea, it has laid the groundwork to expand its business to Tier 1 suppliers for completed vehicles in the future. V-ONE TECH CO., LTD. is also participating in a government-funded project in the field of autonomous lithium-ion battery manufacturing. The company was selected as the lead institution for the “Development of Physical AI-Based Carbon-Reduced Battery Manufacturing Equipment and Systems” project under the “2026 Regional Innovation Cluster Development Project,” which is overseen by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and implemented by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KITECH) and the Gwangju Regional Industry Promotion Agency. Together with Syscon Robotics and the KUKJEON Electronics Technology Institute, V-ONE TECH CO., LTD. plans to develop: △ AI vision inspection based on With AI technology; △ intelligent AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) that integrate VLM-based environmental perception and LLM-based control policy decisions with the ACS (AMR Control System, an integrated AMR control system); △ a next-generation autonomous manufacturing and inspection system for rechargeable batteries that utilizes autonomous transport and manipulators for products undergoing inspection—to establish an integrated, Physical AI-based “inspection-transport-control” autonomous manufacturing demonstration system. According to the company, the battery packs produced through this autonomous manufacturing process are scheduled to be supplied to domestic automakers in the future; the company explains that this project is significant as a demonstration-based government-funded initiative where development outcomes directly translate into the actual supply chain.
