[E-Daily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] Casino display specialist TOVIS Co., LTD(051360)has completed its spin-off and will resume trading on the 27th of this month. TOVIS Co., LTD announced on the 10th that it plans to resume trading on the 27th following the delisting and relisting procedures. The company plans to strengthen the competitiveness of its casino display business based on an independent management structure. Through this spin-off, TOVIS Co., LTD has separated its casino and industrial display business from its automotive electronics display business. The company intends to use this opportunity to eliminate the “conglomerate discount” and enhance the expertise and profitability of its casino display business. TOVIS Co., LTD supplies casino-specific display solutions—including curved monitors, smart button decks, and digital signage—to global slot machine and casino equipment manufacturers. The company explained that while the domestic casino industry is showing signs of recovery due to the recent increase in foreign visitors to South Korea, investments in the renovation and new development of integrated resorts (IRs) are also continuing in major markets such as the United States, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Macau, Singapore, and the Philippines. The company plans to accelerate its expansion into the global market by enhancing its gaming monitors for slot machines while expanding its lineup of high-value-added products—such as large LED displays and digital signage—that can be applied throughout casino spaces. A TOVIS Co., LTD official stated, “Now that our independent management system has fully launched following the spin-off, we will focus our efforts on enhancing the expertise and profitability of our casino and industrial display businesses,” adding, “With the resumption of trading, we will strengthen communication with the market and work to increase our mid- to long-term corporate value and shareholder value by expanding the supply of high-value-added products and improving operational efficiency.” Meanwhile, the scheduled dates for TOVIS Co., LTD’s re-listing and NeoView’s relisting were originally set for the 20th but have been changed to the 27th in accordance with relevant procedures.
