NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd. Completes Construction of ‘FA Center’ at Plant No. 2… Completes Three-Pronged System of ‘R&D, Production, and Automation’
Built a 6,500 pyeong integrated infrastructure within 10 years of founding
Full-Scale Push into Major Projects and the Global Manufacturing Automation Market
[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] #NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd., a company specializing in intelligent robots, has completed construction of its second plant—the FA (Factory Automation) Center—thereby establishing a three-hub system that encompasses research and development (R&D), automation system implementation, and mass production of industrial robots. Ten years after its founding, the company has built an integrated production infrastructure spanning approximately 6,500 pyeong and plans to accelerate its expansion into domestic and international manufacturing automation markets.
NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd. announced that with the completion of this FA Center, it has secured a total production and research infrastructure of 21,488 square meters (approximately 6,500 pyeong), including its existing headquarters and the Naepo production hub in South Chungcheong Province.
The newly opened FA Center, spanning approximately 1,000 pyeong, is dedicated to the design, manufacturing, assembly, and project execution of factory automation systems. It is tasked with providing automation solutions optimized for customers’ production environments and strengthening the company’s capacity to handle large-scale automation projects.

The approximately 5,000 pyeong production base in Naepo, South Chungcheong Province, has been transformed into the “RM Center (Robot Manufacturing Center).” It is responsible for the manufacturing and mass production of industrial robots—including Cartesian, SCARA, and articulated robots—and serves as a key production base for establishing a stable supply system.
Accordingly, NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd. has established a specialized system organized by function, comprising the ▲ Core Center (R&D), ▲ FA Center (Automation System Implementation), and ▲ RM Center (Robot Manufacturing and Mass Production). By organically linking the entire process—from product development to automation system implementation, production, and supply—the company is now able to respond more swiftly to increasing customer demand and large-scale projects.
This expansion of production infrastructure is also an investment aimed at addressing the growing demand for automation in the manufacturing sector and the expansion of the industrial robot market. The company expects that this will further enhance its business execution capabilities and responsiveness to customer needs.
NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd. RM Center (Robot Manufacturing Center) NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd. is also accelerating its business expansion. Earlier this year, it acquired Hanyang Robotics, a peer in the industry, and began integrated operations. The company is expanding its business scope beyond industrial robot manufacturing to become a total robotics solutions provider, encompassing process analysis, automation system design, and logistics robots.
CEO Lee Jong-ju, who leads the company, is a robotics expert who founded NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd. in 2016 after 12 years of experience in the industrial robotics field at Hanyang Robotics. Drawing on his hands-on experience, he is driving the company’s growth by simultaneously strengthening both technology development and production capabilities.
A NAUROBOTICS Co., Ltd. official stated, “The completion of Plant 2 and the establishment of an operational system with three hubs are important milestones in the company’s growth,” adding, “We plan to continuously enhance our R&D capabilities and production competitiveness to provide greater value to our customers and begin a full-scale push into the global manufacturing automation market.”
