[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Netmarble Corporation(251270)announced on the 22nd that it has launched “Global 2,” a new server for the vampire-themed MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) “Vampir,” where global users can compete together.

“Vampir” garnered significant attention, reaching No. 1 on the Japanese Apple App Store’s popularity chart based solely on pre-launch downloads.

“Global 2” is a server where players from Japan have joined existing players from South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau to compete together. To celebrate the launch, various events will be held through August 26. First, during the “Red Moon Festa” celebrating the game’s first anniversary, players can earn a total of over 1,100 summoning tickets for avatars and mounts. Additionally, events offering a 20% increase in experience and gold gains, as well as double daily quest rewards, are underway to support players’ rapid progression.

Launched on August 26 of last year, “Vampire” is an MMORPG developed by key members of the “Lineage 2 Revolution” development team. Based on a vampire concept and a dark fantasy-style medieval world, it is currently available on both mobile and PC platforms.

Within just nine days of its domestic launch, “Vampire” achieved No. 1 in sales on both major app stores and surpassed 200,000 concurrent users, recording tangible success. Riding on this momentum, the game opened global servers for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in March of this year, and today expanded its service region to include Japan.
