Recently, a video showing a female audience member showcasing her dance skills on a large screen set up at Psy’s summer brand concert, “Soak Show,” has become a hot topic online. The video also captured a moment where Psy took an interest in the audience member, saying, “Our P Nation manager, go get that girl’s contact info.” P Nation is the entertainment agency led by Psy. Psy also told the audience member, “We’ll meet again soon.” After the video went viral, it was revealed that the audience member was Kim Ra-hee, born in 2012, who dreams of becoming an idol. This was disclosed to the media by the idol training academy she attends. A representative from the academy stated, “This was completely unexpected, so Ra-hee is still quite surprised,” adding, “It seems that her ability to fully showcase her own energy without being intimidated by the huge crowd led to this positive outcome.” The representative continued, “Taking this as an opportunity, Ra-hee is reaffirming her determination to move toward her dream with even greater responsibility,” and added, “We ask that you watch her grow with warm support.” Meanwhile, some observers raised suspicions that a specific entertainment agency might have orchestrated the event in advance to promote a trainee on the verge of debuting. In response, Kim Ra-hee took to her social media account on the 27th to clarify the matter herself, posting, “I am not a trainee (affiliated with any agency).”
