Cosmetics Business Revenue 'Soars' 150% in One Year
"Growth Momentum Expected to Continue in the Second Half, With Record-High Growth Anticipated for This Year"
[Edaily Reporter KYUNG GYEYOUNG ] POND GROUP CO., LTD. posted its best-ever quarterly earnings in the second quarter. The company also succeeded in improving its business structure, with sales from its cosmetics and live commerce businesses accounting for over 50% of total revenue.
POND GROUP CO., LTD.(472850)The company announced on the 3rd that its consolidated operating profit for the second quarter was 21.8 billion won, a 38.1% increase compared to the same period last year. It surpassed the record quarterly operating profit of 20.1 billion won set in the fourth quarter of last year in just two quarters.
Preliminary figures for the same period show revenue rose 33.3% to 149.4 billion won, while net income increased 59.0% to 18.0 billion won. Cumulative revenue and operating profit for the first half of the year stood at 266.3 billion won and 38.7 billion won, respectively.

By division, the Cosmetics Division showed particularly strong growth, with revenue reaching 30.5 billion won—a 150.6% increase compared to the second quarter of last year. This was largely driven by the growth of Most, a subsidiary that distributes K-Beauty products to Costco in the U.S., Sephora in five Asian countries, Australia, and Canada, as well as the impact of the merger with All Grace, led by CEO Kim Kang-il, founder of “Joseon Beauty.”
Revenue from the live commerce business totaled 8.1 billion won. “ClickMate,” the private live commerce platform operated by POND GROUP CO., LTD., drove the improvement in live commerce performance by surpassing 130 billion won in cumulative transaction volume for the first half of the year. Rudel and Monad Holdings, which were acquired in May and June, respectively, are expected to be fully reflected in the company’s financial results starting in the third quarter.
Revenue from the fashion business reached 110.8 billion won. Not only did offline sales of global brands such as Superdry, BBCious, and Off-White grow, but sales of the company’s own premium athleisure brand, “P.MOVÉA,” launched last March, also performed strongly. Superdry is running a campaign starting this month featuring its new model, actor and singer Park Ji-hoon , and Off-White plans to continue its earnings growth in the second half of the year by expanding its presence in department stores.
A POND GROUP CO., LTD. official emphasized, “In the second quarter, the profit contribution from the cosmetics and live commerce divisions—our new business segments—exceeded 50% for the first time, marking a successful transformation toward a high-profit business structure equipped with new growth engines that the company has been pursuing.” He added, “Starting in the third quarter, the performance of newly acquired subsidiaries will be reflected in our results, and we are heading into the peak season in the fourth quarter,” noting, “We will maintain strong growth momentum in the second half of the year to achieve record-breaking results in 2026.”
