Earlier today, Acryl Inc. issued a press release stating, “We plan to use this participation as an opportunity to fully expand the large-scale pilot testing and data center implementation of our AI infrastructure operation platform, ‘GPUBASE.’” The AIDC Alliance is a public-private consultative body hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and the KoreaInformation&Communication Association (KAIT). It was formed to implement the AI data center sector of the “Three Major Mega-Projects for Korea’s Great Leap Forward,” announced last June, and consists of subcommittees for demand, supply, and infrastructure, as well as an Export and Industrialization Task Force (TF). Major domestic information and communications technology (ICT) and cloud companies, including SKTelecom, Naver Cloud, Samsung SDS, and LGELECTRONICS, are participating in the Alliance. Participating companies plan to support the demonstration and commercial reference implementation of domestically produced equipment and solutions, as well as promote the localization of core technologies and overseas expansion. Acryl Inc. will be responsible for the AI infrastructure operations sector within the Supply Subcommittee, which includes ICT equipment, power, cooling, and software companies. The company plans to supply GPUBASE, a solution that supports granular allocation of GPU resources, task scheduling, and RoCEv2-based network acceleration. Park Oe-jin, CEO of Acryl Inc., stated, “Through our participation in the AIDC Alliance, we have secured a business foothold within the national AI data center ecosystem.” He added, “Based on the technological capabilities of GPUBASE—which raises GPU utilization rates to over 93%—and our cumulative supply track record of 5.5 billion won, we will translate policy opportunities into tangible business results.”
