[Edaily Reporter SOYEON KIM ] LGELECTRONICS announced on the 10th that it will showcase its next-generation wireless wallpaper TV, the “LG Signature OLED W,” at Harrods, London’s premier luxury department store. This initiative is designed to highlight the unparalleled picture quality and design of LG’s OLED TVs at one of London’s leading department stores.

LGELECTRONICS will hold a special exhibition of the LG Signature OLED W in the Brompton Road storefront window, which adorns the exterior of Harrods’ first floor, through the 26th (local time).

The exhibition space is located on one of London’s premier premium shopping streets, which attracts an average of approximately 1.1 million visitors per month. Visitors can experience the LG Signature OLED W’s stunning picture quality and ultra-slim design even before entering the store. The layout has been designed so that visitors can seamlessly view the product inside the LGELECTRONICS store after seeing it in the storefront window.

LGELECTRONICS organized this exhibition to impress upon local customers the unparalleled picture quality and design of LG OLED TVs, thereby further strengthening its position as a premium brand in the UK market. Since its world-first launch in 2013, the LG OLED TV has maintained its position as the global market leader for 13 consecutive years.

The exhibition concept was designed around Harrods’ theme for this summer season, “Golden Hour.” In a space highlighted by dazzling amber-hued lighting, the LG Corp. Signature OLED W blends seamlessly with its surroundings, offering a highly immersive experience akin to a work of art.

As the next-generation wireless “wallpaper TV,” the LG Signature OLED W features an ultra-slim all-in-one design measuring just 0.9 cm thick—about the thickness of a pencil—achieved by making every component, from the panel to the power board and speakers, ultra-slim.

It was the first in the world to receive “True Wireless Lossless Vision” certification from the global certification body TÜV Rheinland. This enables the real-time transmission of high-definition 4K video at a 165Hz refresh rate without any loss of picture quality or lag. The Zero Connect Box, which connects to peripheral devices such as set-top boxes, is 35% smaller than those found on conventional wireless TVs. It helps the TV blend seamlessly into any installation environment.

The latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which delivers stunning picture quality, also stands out. The latest OLED picture and sound AI processor, the “3rd Generation Alpha 11 (α11 4K Gen3),” maintains crisp picture quality even during rapid scene changes thanks to a 5.6-fold improvement in neural processing unit (NPU) performance. Graphics processing performance has also increased by 70%, delivering even more natural and rich picture quality.

Featuring the industry’s first Intertek “Reflection Free Premium” certified ultra-low-reflection display technology, it reduces light reflection by half compared to previous models—even in brightly lit storefront environments—while clearly rendering Perfect Black and Perfect Color.
