To mark Domestic Violence Prevention Day, AEKYUNG INDUSTRIAL delivered “Cherished Support Packages” worth 300 million won to the National Council of Domestic Violence Victim Protection Facilities at the Fruit of Love Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 7th. AEKYUNG INDUSTRIAL announced on the 10th that it had delivered “Cherished Support Packages” worth 300 million won to the National Council of Shelters for Domestic Violence Victims at the Fruit of Love Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 7th. The National Council of Shelters for Domestic Violence Victims was established in 2005 to prevent domestic violence, protect victims, and promote their rights and interests. The Council has been engaged in activities such as facilitating information sharing among domestic violence shelters nationwide, improving service quality, and providing support to victims.

This support initiative was organized to encourage victims living in domestic violence shelters to resume their daily lives and achieve stability, as well as to contribute to strengthening the social safety net. AEKYUNG INDUSTRIAL, in collaboration with the Dasarang Community, produced 1,200 sets of “Cherished Support Packages” worth 300 million won, consisting of daily necessities and cosmetics.

These kits are scheduled to be distributed on the 12th to 63 domestic violence shelters across eight regions nationwide through the Community Chest of Korea. Key officials attended the handover ceremony, including Kim Jeong-pil, Head of the Sustainable Management Division at AEKYUNG INDUSTRIAL; Kim Kyung-hee, Director General of the Community Chest of Korea; Seong Jae-ho, CEO of Dasarang Community; and Kim Ok-gi, Executive Director of the National Council of Domestic Violence Shelters.

Kim Jeong-pil, Head of the Sustainable Management Division at AEKYUNG INDUSTRIAL, said, “We organized this support with the hope that it will provide even a little help to victims who have suffered from domestic violence as they work to restore their daily lives.” He added, “Moving forward, based on our corporate philosophy of love and respect, we will continue to carry out social contribution activities that provide tangible support to neighbors in need.”
