[Edaily Reporter Kim Ji-woo ] Dongwon F&F has enhanced the health benefits—such as high protein and low sugar—of its Chuseok gift sets this year and expanded its product lineup to include value-oriented options and products created in collaboration with popular characters.

Dongwon F&F announced on the 11th that it has launched approximately 110 varieties of its “2026 Chuseok Gift Sets.” A key feature of this year’s lineup is the expansion of products reflecting consumer trends toward health—such as high-protein and low-sugar options—along with the introduction of value-oriented items designed to alleviate the burden of rising prices.

The Dongwon Tuna gift set, the company’s flagship product, now offers approximately 20% more varieties than last year. Centered around the high-protein “Light Standard” line, the lineup features a diverse selection of flavored tuna products, such as chili tuna and vegetable tuna.

The new “Super Tuna” product has also been included in the gift sets. The line consists of “Protein 30,” which has a protein content of 30g, and “Low-Sodium Yellowfin Tuna,” which has 70% less sodium, and is available for purchase through online stores.

Yangban Kim, celebrating its 40th anniversary, has placed a strong emphasis on its premium products. The company has expanded its lineup of seaweed sets—made with various raw materials such as gopchang stone seaweed, gamtae, and maeseongi—as well as its canned seaweed product line. The packaging design has also been updated to offer a modern reinterpretation of the Yangban brand’s traditional image.

The company has also introduced products that reflect recent dietary trends. It has unveiled gift sets containing Spanish avocado oil and allulose, as well as comprehensive gift sets designed to be more affordable.

The company also released unique products featuring character and celebrity intellectual property (IP). It newly introduced the “Dongwon Tuna Line Friends Edition,” created in collaboration with the global character brand Line Friends, and is selling the “BTS Jin Super Tuna Gift Set,” developed in partnership with BTS member Jin. These products sold a cumulative total of over 40,000 sets during the past Chuseok and Lunar New Year holidays.

The company is also continuing its line of eco-friendly packaging products. It offers the “All-Paper Package,” made from 100% paper, as well as the “All-Recycled Package,” which uses recycled boxes made from aseptic cartons and bags made from recycled plastic waste.

Dongwon Mall, Dongwon F&F’s online food store, is running a pre-order promotion for Chuseok gift sets through the 31st. The promotion offers discount coupons and department store gift certificates worth up to 300,000 won, depending on the purchase amount. Customers who pre-order can also specify their desired shipping date.
