Marking its 20th anniversary this year, ISEC 2026 is Korea’s largest security conference, attracting approximately 10,000 security experts, corporate Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), IT managers, and public sector officials annually to share the latest security technologies and industry trends. This year’s event will be held at COEX in Seoul from August 11 to 12 under the theme “The Future of Autonomous Security Enabled by AI.”

At this event, LG Uplus will showcase △ “AlphaKey,” an integrated identity management service (IDaaS); △ “U+SASE,” a cloud-based integrated network and security platform; and △ the “Cloud Security Pack” for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Based on an integrated security portfolio that spans account and authentication, network security, and cloud security, the company plans to showcase an environment and operational capabilities that allow enterprise customers to receive key security services through a single provider.

“AlphaKey” is a cloud-based integrated account management service launched by LG Uplus in 2025. It enables corporate employees to securely access various business systems and cloud services using a single account, and enhances security and convenience through the application of single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and homomorphic encryption technology. The company plans to aggressively expand its presence in the public sector market by leveraging “AlphaKey,” which was the first IDaaS service in Korea to obtain CSAP certification.

The company will also showcase “U+SASE,” a cloud-based integrated network and security platform set for official launch. U+SASE is a service that consolidates the management of networks and security across various work environments—including headquarters, branch offices, and work-from-home or remote settings—onto a single platform. By combining LG Uplus’s expertise in telecommunications network operations with its security technology capabilities, it provides a security framework optimized for the Korean corporate environment.

The company will also unveil the “Cloud Security Pack” for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers. It features an integrated suite of core security functions essential for business operations, including AI-based ransomware detection and blocking, email security, data backup, and data leakage prevention. This solution helps reduce the burden of deploying separate solutions and enables SMEs to establish security systems more cost-effectively.

In addition, LG Uplus will announce its business strategy targeting the enterprise security market during a keynote presentation at this event. Choi Jong-bo, Head of Security Business at LG Uplus, will deliver a presentation titled “The Strategic Direction for Telco-Native Security Services.”

LG Uplus is presenting its “Telco-Native Security” strategy, which combines the company’s capabilities in data centers, telecommunications networks, the cloud, and security services. Moving beyond simply providing network connectivity, the company plans to offer differentiated security services to enterprise customers based on an integrated business model that encompasses everything from service planning and technology roadmap development to deployment and operation.

Choi Jong-bo, Head of the Security Business Division at LG Uplus, stated, “Enterprises want a trustworthy digital work environment, not just a simple connection.” He added, “Based on AlphaKey, U+SASE, and the Cloud Security Pack, LG Uplus will expand its differentiated services that integrate telecommunications and security, and support customers so they can operate their businesses with peace of mind.”
