It remains to be seen whether this will mark a turning point for the company’s North American business, as it has expanded its “PACS-integrated AI” model—previously validated by a group of radiology specialists in collaboration with INFINITT North America (INA)—into the hospital’s medical system.
According to Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. on the 10th, the company supplied its chest computed tomography (CT) AI solution, “AVIEW,” to St. Joseph’s Health in New Jersey, U.S. St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, a major hospital within the St. Joseph’s Health network, is a 651-bed regional academic medical center that provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty care.
It is noteworthy that this contract is a paid supply agreement rather than a research-based pilot project. Accordingly, the AVIEW solution has been in actual use since July 14 in the interpretation of images from patients undergoing lung cancer screening. A Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. official explained, “In North America, the business model is fundamentally based on a structure where revenue is generated repeatedly through actual usage following system deployment, rather than through one-time sales,” adding, “This contract also follows a recurring revenue model where revenue is recognized based on system deployment and actual usage.”

St. Joseph’s Health is a hospital system that integrates inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care.
The product being implemented is AVIEW, which detects and analyzes pulmonary nodules in chest CT scans of patients undergoing lung cancer screening. It provides structured quantitative information such as size, volume, and location, and can also track changes in nodules by comparing past CT scans with current images.
A key feature is that the AI is not used as a separate program but is integrated into the hospital’s existing Infinite Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). When CT images are received, the AI automatically analyzes them in the background, and medical staff can view the results on their existing reading screens without having to log in separately or launch a different program.
This is a critical issue in the commercialization of medical AI. Even if an algorithm has high accuracy, it is unlikely to be used consistently if medical staff must launch a separate program or transfer images every time. Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. is targeting the North American market by combining INA’s local installation and integration capabilities with its proprietary chest CT AI, ensuring that the hospital’s existing workflow remains undisturbed.
Actual practicality was also confirmed in the earlier ImageCare case. ImageCare expanded the scope of AView’s implementation across its entire network within just one month of adoption. In an environment processing over 6,000 cases per quarter, the company reported improvements such as automated calculation of coronary artery calcification, enhanced sensitivity in lung nodule detection, and reduced reading times; it also noted that the increased detection of micro-nodules led to a rise in follow-up examinations.

Expand to Outpatient CT?… The North American Commercialization Model Faces a Test
The key question is how quickly usage at St. Joseph’s Health will grow. Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. has currently started with the lung cancer screening population rather than all thoracic CT scans at the hospital, but expects there to be room to expand the scope of application.
A Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. official explained, “During user training sessions, plans to expand the application to chest CT scans for general outpatient patients were discussed, and the hospital has also shown interest in adopting additional AI solutions.” The official added, “If this becomes a reality, usage—which was previously limited to the lung cancer screening program—could expand to include routine chest CT scans performed at the hospital. However, the specific scope and timing of implementation will be determined based on initial operational results and hospital policies.”
Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. has also recently been expanding its customer base in the U.S. preventive screening market. The company signed a supply contract with Boulder Internal Medicine, a primary care practice focused on preventive medicine in Colorado, to provide its lung cancer analysis AI “AView LCS” and coronary artery calcification analysis AI “AView CAC.” Following university hospitals and radiology groups, the company is diversifying its customer base to include hospital healthcare systems and preventive screening institutions.
The company plans to evaluate the success of its North American business not merely by the number of contracts signed, but based on actual implementation, monthly analysis volume, sustained usage, and the expansion of applicable tests and product lines.
Kim Jin-guk, CEO of Coreline Soft Co., Ltd., stated, “The full-scale commercialization of medical AI in the North American market cannot be achieved simply by supplying products.” He added, “A structure must be established where the AI integrates stably into hospital systems, is used repeatedly by medical staff, and sees an expansion in both usage volume and the range of applied products.”
He emphasized, “The St. Joseph’s Health project is an example demonstrating that PACS-integrated AI workflows are expanding into diverse healthcare environments, following the ImageCare Radiology project,” and added, “Over the next two to three years, we will expand our revenue structure based on repeat usage in North America, leveraging local partnerships, references from specialized hospitals and imaging networks, and our portfolio of FDA-approved products.”
