[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh Seok ] POS and kiosk specialist POSBANK CO., LTD.(105760)posted significantly improved financial results for the second quarter of this year, driven by expanded overseas sales. POSBANK CO., LTD. announced on the 11th that it recorded consolidated revenue of 36.6 billion won, operating profit of 6.3 billion won, and net income of 7.5 billion won for the second quarter of 2026.

Second-quarter revenue increased by 41.0% compared to the same period last year (26 billion won) and by 38.1% compared to the previous quarter (26.5 billion won). Operating profit surged by 285.8% compared to the same period last year (1.6 billion won) and by 216.0% compared to the previous quarter (2.0 billion won). Net income also rose to 7.5 billion won, a 1,451.7% increase from the same period last year (500 million won).
The company explained that the growth in earnings was driven by expanded overseas sales centered on its flagship POS products and an increase in Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) supply to global B2B clients.
Cumulative performance growth for the first half of the year was also steep. Consolidated revenue for the first half of 2026 reached 63.1 billion won, a 34.0% increase compared to the same period last year (47.1 billion won). During the same period, operating profit reached 8.3 billion won and net income reached 10.0 billion won, representing increases of 283.8% and 606.8%, respectively.
In particular, the second quarter saw a noticeable improvement in profitability alongside revenue growth. The second-quarter operating profit margin was approximately 17.3%, up 9.7 percentage points (p) from the previous quarter (approximately 7.5%). This improvement in profitability resulted from the expansion of profit margins driven by revenue growth.
POSBANK CO., LTD. plans to strengthen the global competitiveness of its existing POS and kiosk businesses while cultivating the robotics and AI sectors as new growth engines. The company recently invested approximately 5 billion won to establish “PAMR,” a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to robotics and AI, and acquired the robotics division of RGT, a company specializing in autonomous robots, thereby securing related technology, personnel, and intellectual property rights.
A POSBANK CO., LTD. official stated, “In the second quarter, we achieved meaningful results by simultaneously driving revenue growth and improving profitability,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen the competitiveness of our existing businesses while fostering the robotics and AI business as a new growth pillar to lay the foundation for mid- to long-term growth.”
