First, the company reviewed key issues by business division and sought ways to secure “fundamental competitiveness” by resolving customer problems more thoroughly and effectively.
The Wealth Management (WM) Division presented a customer retention strategy centered on strengthening advisory solutions, while the Digital Division proposed measures to enhance the competitiveness of its differentiated platform. The Investment Banking (IB) Division proposed strategies to strengthen its capabilities as a corporate finance advisory partner covering the entire corporate lifecycle.
During the session on expanding integrated business, the group conducted an in-depth review of strategies to integrate the core competencies held by each business division and, based on this, provide financial services that meet customers’ complex needs.
In the AX (AI Transformation) session, the company reaffirmed its approach to AI as a core driver of decision-making innovation and the transformation of the company’s operational systems, rather than merely a tool for automating tasks.
NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES plans to begin full-scale rollout of AX starting at the end of this year. To this end, starting this month, the company will begin full-scale development of core AI agents and the construction of a company-wide AI platform, focusing on seven priority domains, including Wealth Management (WM), Investment Banking (IB), and Wholesale.
CEO Shin Jae-wook stated, “The essence of the securities industry lies in accurately understanding the diversifying needs of customers and providing comprehensive financial solutions,” adding, “We will utilize AX not merely as a tool for automating tasks, but as a core driving force to innovate decision-making processes and fundamentally transform the company’s operational framework.”
CEO Bae Kwang-soo remarked, “Affiliated businesses are a core strategy that goes beyond simply creating synergies to further elevate the company’s growth potential,” adding, “We must expand these businesses to stay one step ahead as a comprehensive financial services company.”
