Revenue for the same period totaled 131.1 billion won, a 5.2% decrease from the previous year. Net income was 14.1 billion won, marking a return to profitability compared to the previous year.
The Welcron Company Limited’s return to profitability in the first half of this year is attributed to steady improvements in profitability across its functional fiber and defense materials businesses. The Welcron Company Limited official stated, “Despite significant volatility in the external environment, we recorded a stable profit through product competitiveness and cost innovation in our core businesses of functional fibers and defense materials,” adding, “In the second half of the year, we will further boost profitability by strengthening our premium bedding lineup and pursuing aggressive sales in overseas defense markets.”
