Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 Corp. announced on the 18th that it is adding an “AI Traffic Domain” analysis feature to its data analytics service, “Cafe24 Analytics,” which analyzes traffic and performance by major AI services.
With this feature, direct-to-consumer (D2C) online store operators can view key metrics—such as traffic volume, number of purchases, purchase rate, and revenue—by AI service at a glance. The company explains that this enables businesses to develop channel strategies based on actual performance by AI service.
The analysis covers a total of 15 services, ranging from major generative AI services such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Plexicity to recently emerging services like Grok, DeepSeek, and MetaAI.
The AI traffic domain analysis feature goes beyond simply aggregating traffic from AI sources; it breaks down how many customers arriving via each AI service actually converted into purchases and generated revenue.
Online store operators can view the number of visitors, traffic share, number of purchases, purchase rate, sales revenue, and revenue share for each AI service on a single screen. This allows them to compare which AI services drive the most traffic, which have the highest purchase rates, and which contribute the most to sales.
Cafe24 Corp. views generative AI as an emerging new commerce channel.
According to Cafe24 Corp.’s analysis of traffic data from D2C online stores on its platform, the number of visits via major generative AI services—such as ChatGPT and Gemini—reached approximately 850,000 in the second quarter of 2026, a 72% increase compared to the same period last year. The purchase conversion rate for visits originating from AI also rose by 70% year-over-year, and the number of orders increased by 195%.
This feature is available through Cafe24 Corp.’s data-driven online store management service, Cafe24 Analytics. Cafe24 Analytics provides integrated analysis of data across all aspects of online store operations—including sales, visitors, and conversion rates—and offers insights essential for operations, such as multi-channel analysis and purchase funnel analysis.
The AI traffic source domain analysis feature is available free of charge to Cafe24 Corp. Analytics Premium plan subscribers and “Cafe24 PRO” customers.
Cafe24 Corp. plans to further enhance the feature in the future by adding newly emerging AI services to the scope of analysis.
In addition, the company will enhance Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) technology to help AI more accurately understand an online store’s product and brand information. Through this, Cafe24 aims to support online merchants in systematically managing everything from product exposure to customer acquisition and purchase performance within the AI environment.
Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24 Corp., stated, “As generative AI establishes itself as a practical commerce channel, accurately tracking traffic and purchase performance by AI source is becoming a new competitive advantage.” He added, “Cafe24 Corp. will continue to advance AI traffic analysis and GEO technology to help online businesses connect with more customers and boost business performance even in the AI environment.”
