[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] GFC Life Science(388610)announced on the 20th that its in-house derma-cosmetic brand “fmk” has signed exclusive supply agreements with local distributors in Vietnam and Italy.
Launched last March, fmk has secured local partners in Asia and Europe just five months after its launch. The company is currently negotiating the details of exclusive supply agreements with partners in Ukraine, Poland, Hong Kong, and other regions. Its goal is to establish an exclusive supply network in five countries by the end of this year and in a total of 15 countries by next year. The company has also taken steps to address regulatory requirements for global market expansion. Its core products, the “Rejuvenating PDRN Kit” and the “Brightening Vita Kit,” have completed registration with the European Cosmetics Registration Portal (CPNP), and the company has also finalized registration and regulatory compliance procedures under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) to enter the U.S. market. Recently, the company expanded its product lineup with the launch of the “Calming Matcha EXO Kit.”
The company is also expanding its domestic offline sales network targeting foreign tourists. FMK has opened a store at the “Mimi K Beauty Care Pharmacy” in Dongdaemun, which held its soft opening on the 14th. The company plans to leverage the Dongdaemun commercial district—which attracts many foreign tourists—as a hub to enhance product experience and brand awareness, while also identifying overseas distributors and buyers.
The company is also strengthening its global business-to-business (B2B) marketing efforts. It plans to participate in global beauty exhibitions, including “Cosmoprof Bologna,” starting in 2027, to identify new buyers and expand distribution partnerships by country.
An official from GFC Life Science Co., Ltd. stated, “fmk is the result of expanding the bio-material technology and dermatological R&D capabilities we have accumulated into our own product and brand business.” They added, “Following our first tangible achievement—securing exclusive supply contracts with Vietnam and Italy just five months after launch—we are currently in discussions with additional countries, further accelerating the expansion of our overseas business.”
The spokesperson continued, “Based on our commercialization system—which spans from R&D to product planning and development, compliance with global regulations, and the establishment of local distribution networks—we plan to build an exclusive supply network covering five countries by 2026 and 15 countries by 2027.” They added, “We will translate the expansion of contracted countries into actual product supply and revenue growth, fostering fmk into a new global growth engine.”
