Through this contract, the Korea Federation of SMEs will be able to proactively respond to increasingly sophisticated security threats, such as ransomware and data breaches, while simultaneously enhancing enterprise-wide collaboration efficiency and ensuring systematic data governance.
“Mpower EZis-C” is a solution that consolidates work documents scattered across individual PCs and departments into a central repository, thereby turning them into corporate assets. It provides robust security features such as blocking local storage, file-level encryption, permission-based access control, approval for data export, and audit trail management. Through these measures, it provides seamless protection for the core information assets of companies and institutions.
In particular, this project holds significant importance beyond simple document security, as it establishes a reliable data supply foundation—specifically, a “data pipeline”—for the Korea Federation of SMEs’ future AI transformation (AX). This is because, with the recent surge in the adoption of generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), the systematic accumulation and refinement of internal unstructured document data has emerged as a key prerequisite for AI utilization.
Using the company-wide documents and metadata accumulated through “Empower EGIS Co., Ltd.-C,” Innotena plans to gradually propose a “Semantic Layer”-based data integration solution. This solution is designed to help AI accurately understand the contextual relationships between tasks and documents when the Korea Federation of SMEs begins fully implementing or advancing its AI services. This will ensure permission-based controls and data consistency when implementing AI-powered knowledge search, laying the groundwork for more sophisticated AI-driven business innovation.
Based on its proven implementation experience across various enterprise environments—including the public sector, finance, and large corporations—Innotena plans to successfully establish a document management and security governance system optimized for the Korea Federation of SMEs’ operational environment.
