[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] KRAFTON(259960)announced on the 26th that it unveiled trailers for five new titles at “Opening Night Live (ONL),” the pre-show event for “Gamescom 2026,” the world’s largest gaming expo held in Cologne, Germany.

Five new titles participated in this year’s ONL: △Project Zeta, △Age Twister, △PUBG: Deadnet, △NO LAW, and △Tare: Unbound. Each title showcased its key features, focusing on its universe and core gameplay.

ONL is the official opening eve event for Gamescom, a stage that draws the attention of gamers worldwide each year as major global game developers announce new titles and major updates. This year’s ONL took place on the 25th, the day before the opening of Gamescom 2026, and host Geoff Keighley introduced KRAFTON’s new titles while highlighting the features of each game.

On that day, the new title in the PUBG franchise, “PUBG: Deadnet,” made its debut. The trailer was set in Cascadia in 1996—a world inspired by the U.S. Pacific Northwest of the 1990s—and sequentially introduced the characters, gunplay, and a progression system utilizing roguelite elements that carry over from one playthrough to the next. The latter half of the trailer showcased how special abilities and diverse playstyles interlock, leading to larger-scale battles with greater unpredictability.

“NO LAW” delved deeper into gameplay. As an immersive open-world FPS RPG, the trailer followed scenes where city dwellers describe the protagonist, “Grey Harker,” in different ways, leading into sequences of infiltration, hacking, and hardcore shooting. In particular, it highlighted the high degree of freedom in gameplay, allowing players to choose various approaches tailored to each situation as the protagonist navigates through different scenarios and missions.

The Multi-team Tactical Arena (MTA) game “Project Zeta” showcased the characteristics of multi-team tactical PvP, centered on the process of capturing and returning the core objective, “Prism.” The gameplay centered on a three-person team—comprising Scallione, In-ho, and Piper—defeating a boss to secure the key objective “Prism” and then moving toward the drop-off point. During their journey, other teams repeatedly intervened, escalating the conflict into a multi-team skirmish, with the outcome determined by each character’s skills and teamwork.

“Tare: Unbound” also unveiled the game’s world and gameplay footage for the first time. Set in a TONGYANG-inspired dark fantasy world, this action RPG features a cinematic trailer that embodies TONGYANG aesthetics. It begins with narration by the shadowy figure “Agasa” and unfolds into the hero’s saga of confronting a great catastrophe, culminating in actual combat.

The two-player cooperative adventure “Age Twister,” themed “A Journey Through Every Age, Together,” depicts a journey in which a grandfather and his granddaughter set out to follow the trail of his missing daughter—and her mother. The game features two-player cooperative gameplay—including battles on trains, object transformations, and vehicle movement—as well as scenes where players navigate stages by shifting between four age groups—children, youth, adults, and the elderly—and utilizing the unique abilities of each.
