[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] Global precision parts manufacturer DYC(310870)announced on the 26th that it is conducting sales activities targeting North American automakers such as General Motors (GM), Ford, and Stellantis to expand existing supply projects and secure orders for new products.

In particular, the supply of parts to Stellantis is increasing. According to the company, sales of these parts in the first half of this year rose by approximately 50% compared to the same period last year. The company expects the increase in orders driven by recovering demand to continue into the second half of the year.
DYC also views the restructuring of the global automotive parts supply chain as an opportunity to secure new orders. This is because the launch of Dauch Corporation—a merger of U.S. auto parts supplier AAM and a GKN affiliate—has expanded the customer base and production networks of both GKN and AAM.
Given its existing partnership with GKN, DYC is pursuing plans to expand its supply portfolio beyond its current product line to include powertrain components for new vehicle models following the launch of Dauch.
DYC’s main products are powertrain components that transmit a vehicle’s power. These components are used in a variety of vehicles, including internal combustion engine vehicles, hybrids, and electric vehicles, and the company supplies them to North American automakers such as GM, Ford, and Stellantis, as well as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and Maserati.
Overseas sales also account for a significant portion of the company’s revenue. Most of the company’s powertrain business revenue is generated overseas, with exports accounting for approximately 90% of total sales.
A DYC official stated, “In response to increased orders from major global automakers, we are expanding our product offerings to existing customers and are also in discussions for new orders.” The official added, “We will expand our supply scope to include new vehicle models and customers in response to changes in powertrain strategies and supply chain restructuring within the global automotive market.”
