This service is characterized by “Begins’s” unique values-based matching feature, which is not found in existing dating apps. Through “Pick,” users answer questions and share lighthearted opinions on interesting topics—such as views on relationships or everyday issues—and can then create a multidimensional values profile that reflects their personality based on accumulated response data. This enables users to quickly and precisely search for partners who share their outlook.
The values profile also serves as a bridge to increase the success rate of matches. Profiles and selection results of other members who responded to the same topics are displayed in real time, allowing users to intuitively discover compatible matches and naturally start conversations based on shared interests. Users can also browse other members’ creative comments and leave reactions, or see in real time which users have reacted to their own opinions.
To celebrate the service launch, Begins is running a promotion for Saramin members through September 9. Members who install the app and freely participate in any of the following steps—such as signing up, creating a profile, or trying out the “Pick” feature—will be eligible to win prizes, including a MacBook.
Begins is a dating app launched last year based on the matching technology and user data from Saramin’s recruitment platform. It offers a service designed to foster authentic connections among users in their 20s and 30s.
A Begins representative stated, “With this service launch as a starting point, we will foster active interaction among members and further refine Begins’ unique value-based matching environment.”
