Today, with a heavy and sorrowful heart, I saw him off on his final journey.” He continued, “When I’d sit there alone feeling down, I’d linger for a while, hoping he might sit down next to me, before finally leaving,” and expressed his grief, saying, “Hey, rookie!! Come visit me in my dreams sometimes. Let’s make and eat some ‘ppoggli’ together, just like in the old days! I truly hope Yong-ju will be remembered as an actor in people’s hearts for a long time to come.” Kim Ho-chang posted a photo of the late Lee Yong-ju’s funeral altar, writing, “Brother, I’ll come back tomorrow. I’m posting this in case anyone around me hasn’t heard the news about Yong-ju. Please, I hope to see you at the funeral home. If anyone hasn’t received the address for the funeral home, please contact me.” Baek Bong-gi mourned the deceased, writing, “Yong-ju, the thought that I’ll never see you again keeps me awake at night,” and added, “I only have regrets—I wish I’d taken better care of you while you were here, reached out even once more, and seen you more often.” He continued, “I’m sorry, brother. I hope you live comfortably and happily there, free from any worries or pain,” and expressed his heartfelt grief, adding, “I’ll miss you so much. Farewell, Yong-ju.” Lee Yong-ju passed away on the 29th. The cause of death was reported to be a heart attack. An acquaintance of Lee Yong-ju announced the obituary on his social media, stating, “My friend Lee Yong-ju has passed away suddenly. I still can’t believe this sudden news. I hope many people will join me in remembering Yong-ju on his final journey.” Born in 1982, the late actor—a former model—appeared in MBC’s *Hello, Francesca* and *Gung*, tvN’s *Miss Young-ae* (Seasons 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10), *Fun TV Rollercoaster: The Blue Tower*, *Let’s Eat*, KBS2’s *The Unusual Daughter-in-Law*, MBC’s “Golden Purse” and “Bad Detective,” and ENA’s “New Recruit.” The funeral altar has been set up in Room 5 of the Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart at 6:30 a.m. on the 31st, and the burial will take place at the Seongnam City Funeral Services Center.
