[Edaily Reporter NA EUN-KYUNG ] ILDONG PHARM(249420)has launched a new over-the-counter vitamin brand, “SUPERAMIN,” and is targeting the pharmacy vitamin market.
ILDONG PHARM announced on the 14th that it has launched two new products: “SUPERAMIN Urs” and “SUPERAMIN Quattro.”
SUPERAMIN is an over-the-counter vitamin brand designed to alleviate symptoms such as physical fatigue, decreased stamina, muscle pain, joint pain, neuralgia, stomatitis, glossitis, and dermatitis. ILDONG PHARM has differentiated the ingredient formulations so that consumers can consult with a pharmacist to select a product based on their health condition and intended use.
SUPERAMIN Urs is a multivitamin supplement containing a total of 17 ingredients. It includes five of the nine B vitamins in their active forms, and for vitamin B1, it combines fursultiamine and benfotiamine. Active vitamins are vitamin derivatives that either reduce the conversion process required for the body to utilize them or improve their absorption and utilization characteristics. B vitamins are involved in energy metabolism and the maintenance of nervous system function.
In addition to vitamins, Superlamin Urs contains taurine, ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), betaine hydrochloride, orotic acid hydrate, glucuronolactone, and choline tartrate. The company explains that it focused on combining a diverse range of ingredients rather than on high concentrations of specific components.
Superlamin Quattro, launched alongside it, contains a total of 19 ingredients. Of the 11 B vitamins, six are in their active forms, and the formula also includes vitamin D, magnesium, taurine, UDCA, choline tartrate, and inositol. Notably, vitamin B1 combines three forms: fursultiamine, benfotiamine, and bisbenzothiamine. Vitamin B12 is present in two forms—mecobalamin and cyanocobalamin—totaling 2,500 μg. Magnesium, which is essential for maintaining nerve and muscle function, is also combined in three forms: magnesium oxide, magnesium glycerophosphate, and magnesium aspartate.
A representative from ILDONG PHARM stated, “Consumer demand for over-the-counter vitamin supplements is diversifying depending on lifestyle patterns and health conditions,” adding, “We have differentiated the ingredient formulations to reflect market trends and ensured that consumers can select the most suitable products through consultation with pharmacists.”
