Graphy announced Tuesday that it had signed an agreement with MegaGen Implant covering strategic cooperation, product supply, and distribution. The companies plan to finalize product-specific supply terms and country-by-country sales plans before signing a definitive three-party agreement among Graphy, Ray, and MegaGen later this month.

The partnership will combine Graphy and Ray’s existing overseas sales operations with MegaGen Implant’s network of international subsidiaries and distributors.

Under the agreement, MegaGen Implant plans to distribute Ray’s digital diagnostic equipment globally, including the R2 Studio Q dental cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) system, as well as intraoral and facial scanners.

The partnership is also expected to accelerate Graphy’s expansion into digital dentistry following its acquisition of Ray. The companies plan to initially distribute Ray’s digital diagnostic equipment through MegaGen Implant’s network before gradually adding Graphy products.

Among Graphy’s products, the companies plan to first distribute an aesthetic restorative material for permanent crowns that has completed development. They then plan to expand the partnership to include white-label distribution of Graphy’s Shape Memory Aligner (SMA), a directly printed clear aligner based on the company’s shape-memory material technology.

The planned product lineup will thus expand from Ray’s digital diagnostic equipment to Graphy’s aesthetic restorative materials and clear aligners. This strategy aims to diversify the product portfolio by adding consumable materials and treatment solutions that generate recurring revenue alongside equipment sales.

The companies are also discussing the inclusion of annual minimum purchase requirements in the definitive agreement expected to be signed this month. The specific terms regarding minimum purchase commitments and supply arrangements for individual products will be finalized in the agreement.

“This agreement is part of the process of implementing our global expansion strategy following the acquisition of Ray,” said Graphy CEO Shim Woon-seop. “Starting with Ray’s digital diagnostic equipment, we plan to expand the partnership to include Graphy’s restorative materials and white-label SMA products, linking the business capabilities of all three companies.”
