[Edaily Reporter kim mi-kyung ] Lee Seon-ho (36), head of CJ Future Planning Group and the eldest son of CJ Corp. Chairman Lee Jay-Hyun, continued his public engagements on the 2nd by attending the pre-opening event for the global art fair “Frieze Seoul.”

On that day, Lee Seon-ho attended the “CJ Night in Celebration of Frieze Seoul” held at the Leeum Museum of Art in Hannam-dong, Seoul, where he interacted with figures from the domestic and international culture and arts communities, as well as key executives.

“CJ Night” is the pre-event for Frieze Seoul, organized by CJ Corp. This marks the third edition, following those held in 2022 and 2024. This year’s event expanded its scope to serve as a global platform where domestic and international art world figures and leaders from various fields of K-Culture were invited to directly experience the K-lifestyle and engage with one another.

It is reported that approximately 400 figures from the domestic and international cultural and arts communities attended the event, including CJ Corp. Vice Chairwoman Lee Mi-kyung, artist Lee Ufan, director Park Chan-wook, actors Lee Byung-hun, Lee Min-jung, and Lee Jung-jae, and Hollywood actor Ansel Elgort. CEOs and executives from major CJ Corp. affiliates were also present to welcome the global cultural and arts figures.

CJ Corp. is utilizing Frieze Seoul as a networking platform to connect the global culture and arts community with the K-lifestyle. In particular, Group Head Lee Seon-ho has been expanding his external activities by making consecutive appearances at major official events since his appointment as Head of CJ Future Planning Group last November. Since taking on this key role overseeing the company’s future growth strategy, he has been establishing himself as a next-generation leader.

Meanwhile, Frieze Seoul—an art fair organized by the world-renowned art magazine Frieze, which selected Seoul as its first Asian host city in 2022—is celebrating its fifth edition this year. The event opened today and will run through the 5th at COEX in Seoul.
